New member: Matthis Lehmkühler (ETH Zurich, W. Werner's Group)

11 Oct 2022

Matthis defended his PhD thesis supervised by W. Werner "Explorations of conformal loop ensembles on deterministic and random surfaces" at ETH Zurich last June.

From December he will continue at ETH Zurich in W. Werner's Group as a postdoc . His research is in the area of probability theory where he investigates the behavior of statistical physics models - more specifically, he studies conformally invariant models in the plane which are constructed using Schramm-Loewner Evolutions (SLE). He has also started working on some problems in complexity theory.
