Congratulations to Yilin Wang and Junliang Shen for receiving the 2018 SwissMAP Innovator Prize!
The SwissMAP Innovator Prize is awarded once a year to PhD students or postdocs for important scientific achievements in the research areas of the NCCR SwissMAP.
Yilin Wang is a PhD student at the ETH Zurich. She is awarded for her remarkable and original work on the Loewner energy of planar curves and loops.
Junliang Shen is a PhD student at the ETH Zurich. He is awarded for his work on the moduli of sheaves: the construction of virtual cobordism classes and the connection of the enumerative geometry of elliptically fibered Calabi-Yau 3-folds to Jacobi forms.
The award ceremony will take place at the 5th SwissMAP General Meeting in Grindelwald on September 09-12, 2018.
