Strings 2024 (CERN 3-7 June)

Several SwissMAP members are on the organizing committee of Strings 2024, which will take place at CERN from 3-7 June 2024.

 

 

Strings 2024 will bring together leading researchers from around the world to discuss the latest developments and explore cutting-edge ideas in the fields of string theory, quantum gravity and quantum field theory.

 

Organisers: David Andriot, Matthias Blau, Victor Gorbenko, Alba Grassi, Monica Guica, Shota Komatsu, Wolfgang Lerche, Kyriakos Papadodimas, Joao Penedones, Susanne Reffert, Julian Sonner, Piotr Tourkine, Irene Valenzuela, Alexander Zhiboedov.

 

 

Strings 2024 fellowships

There are a limited number of fellowships to cover the registration fee and accommodation expenses at the CERN hostel. Travel support could also be provided upon specific request and availability. Applications from developing countries are particularly encouraged.

Open registration January 18, 2024

Fellowships deadline February 18, 2024

Early Bird registration March 31, 2024

Close registrations April 30, 2024

The conference auditorium has a maximum capacity of 400 people. Depending on the number of applicants, registration may close before the deadline.
