20 Sep 2023

Welcome to our new PhD students : Megan Howarth (UNIGE) & Kamil Khettabi (UNIGE).

Megan completed her Bachelor and Master’s studies at the University of Geneva. During that time, she developed a strong interest in Geometric Group Theory and her PhD focuses on that topic. Her thesis at UNIGE is co-directed by Anton Alekseev (UNIGE) and Tatiana Nagnibeda (UNIGE).

Kamil did his Master thesis at the University of Geneva. He now studies statistical physics, in particular the statistical properties of the Isign model in a gravitational field and the saturation transition phenomenon. He joined Yvan Velenik's Group, who is also his PhD advisor.
