New Members : Aleksei Andreev (UZH), Philémon Bordereau (EPFL) & Elias Dubno (UZH)

19 Nov 2023

Welcome to Aleksei Andreev, Philémon Bordereau and Elias Dubno.

Aleksei completed his master's degree at MIPT where he was studying integrable hierarchies, topological recursion and their applications to mirror symmetry. Now he’s working on a project devoted to construction of 2+1-dimensional TQFTs.

Philémon graduated from ETH Zürich in Summer 2023 in Mathematics, with a thesis focusing on the interplay between the Gaussian Free Field and the SLE curves. His current research pursues these questions, with additional outlooks on partition functions, conformally invariant objects, and stochastic differential equations.

Elias started his PhD in September 2022. His interests lie at the boundary between number theory, geometry, and dynamics. For example, he is interested in various aspects of closed geodesics on the modular surface.

Join the group of scientists visiting local schools for "Women and Girls in Science and Technology"
