Join the group of scientists visiting local schools for "Women and Girls in Science and Technology"

19 Nov 2023

Women professors, researchers, doctoral students, laboratory technicians, master's students - your expertise is precious!

The 11th of February is the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, from 5th to 9th of February 2024, UNIGE, in partnership with Cern, EPFL and LAPP, will be celebrating the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.

This year, all women working in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics), IT, communication and education are invited to become ambassadors for young students in our region.

The events will take place in schools in the Canton of Geneva, the Nyon district, the Ain and the Haute-Savoie. This is a unique opportunity to show young girls and boys that careers in science are entirely open to them.

Come and share your passion and inspire the next generation. The Women and Girls in Science and Technology week is a huge success every year, this is why we are always looking for more volunteer women scientists willing to give up a bit of their time to visit schools. So come and join the adventure by signing up:

Registration deadline: 10th of December 2023
