Juhan Aru Promoted to Associate Professor

Juhan Aru Promoted to Associate Professor at EPFL's School of Basic Sciences. 

Juhan Aru’s award-winning research has a focus on probability theory and stochastic analysis, particularly the Gaussian Free Field theory – a highly competitive and important research area. He belongs to a new generation of scientists working in an innovative field of probability theory and statistical mechanics. Juhan Aru is also a dedicated and innovative teacher who nurtures talent and takes a very active part in the tasks of the Institute of Mathematics. He is acknowledged to be a key figure in the success of the School of Basic Sciences at EPFL.
