The ICMP 2021 exhibitions

4 Aug 2021

On the occasion of ICMP 2021, we have reassembled our two exhibitions in order to present them to the congress participants. Both exhibitions are also available online.

Leonardo in perspective - originally set up to mark the 500th anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci’s death, an around this universally known genius. The exhibition presents some of his lesser-known research and contributions in fields such as music, mathematics, astronomy, earth sciences and biochemistry.

Belles Maths - Mathematics is often perceived as a dry and obscure discipline. Those who embark on their discovery have the opportunity to see that they are not only fascinating and exciting, but also… beautiful.

This exhibition presents nine images proposed by a mathematicians where they explain why the images are beautiful to them. To test your memory, each poster ends with a short question.
