Departing member: Théophile Dolmaire (UniBas, C. Saffirio's group)

6 Apr 2022

From April Théophile Dolmaire (UniBas, C. Saffirio's group), will be a post doctoral fellow at the University of Bonn, under the supervision of Professor Juan Velázquez.

They will focus on the kinetic equations, namely we will pursue the studies undertaken here in Basel with Professor Chiara Saffirio concerning the derivation of the Boltzmann equation in the case when the fluid evolves in a bounded domain, and besides we will turn to questions concerning the behavior of gases interacting with electromagnetic radiation.
