CIMPA visitor: Pedro H. Carvalho

26 Apr 2024

Pedro H. Carvalho completed his PhD last April at the Instituto de Matemática Pura e Aplicada (IMPA) in Brazil under the supervision of Prof. Henrique Bursztyn. Pedro works at the interface of Poisson Geometry and Mathematical Physics.

In January 2024, he visited Alekseev's Group at UNIGE for three weeks and stayed for one week at the SwissMAP Research Station, in Les Diablerets, while attending the SwissMAP Winter School.

His visit was made possible through the Centre International de Mathématiques Pures et Appliquées (CIMPA) in France, a non-profit organization that supports mathematical research in developing countries.
