SwissMAP Innovator Prize 2020

Congratulations to our members Fiona Seibold and Pierrick Bousseau who have been awarded the 2020 SwissMAP Innovator Prize!

 

The SwissMAP Innovator Prize is awarded once a year to PhD students or Postdocs for important scientific achievements in the NCCR SwissMAP research areas.

 

Fiona Seibold (ETH Zurich, N. Beisert Group) is awarded a SwissMAP Innovator Prize 2020 for her outstanding contributions to the construction and investigation of integrable deformations of superstrings and their worldsheet duals.

 

Pierrick Bousseau (ETH Zurich, R. Pandharipande Group) is awarded a SwissMAP Innovator Prize 2020 for his proof of Takahashi's conjecture for the log Calabi-Yau geometry via a new sheaf/curve correspondence.

 

The award ceremony will take place during the SwissMAP General Meeting in Saanenmöser, September 06-09, 2020.
