SNSF Agora - Shaula Fiorelli and Pierre Alain Cherix

26 Nov 2019

Congratulations to our members Shaula Fiorelli and Pierre-Alain Cherix who received the SNSF Agora Grant earlier this month. The SNSF Agora scheme promotes dialogue between scientists and society and encourages researchers to communicate to the general public.

Their project, Leonardo in Perspective, is an exhibition to mark the 500th anniversary of Leonardo Da Vinci’s death and will take place from18th December 2019 till 20th February 2020 at the University of Geneva’s exhibition room.

Although Leornardo da Vinci is best known for his paintings and engineering ideas, through this exhibition the University of Geneva’s Scienscope will give the general public the great opportunity to discover less well-known aspects of his work and will focus on his contributions to earth sciences, music, mathematics, astronomy and anatomy.
