Séminaire N. Bourbaki

15 Jan 2025

Séminaire N. Bourbaki

The seminar by Martin HAIRER (EPFL) on Probabilistic interpretation of quantum field theories, after Guillarmou, Kupiainen, Rhodes, Vargas, ... will take place on Saturday 1st of February 2025 at 14h30 at the Institut Henri Poincaré in Paris.

It will report on a series of recent results by Guillarmou, Kupiainen, Rhodes, Vargas, ...on the probabilistic construction of the 2D Liouville quantum field theories. It will cover Segal’s axioms and their probabilistic implementation in the context of the free field. Time permitting, it will also cover the kind of problems arising when constructing interacting field theories, as well as the link to conformal field theories and the Virasoro algebra.
