New member: Przemyslaw Berk (UZH, C. Ulcigrai’s Group)

19 Oct 2020

Welcome to our new postdoc member: Przemyslaw Berk (UZH, C. Ulcigrai’s Group). He finished his master thesis in maths as well as his PhD at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, Poland.

His main point of interest is ergodic theory and dynamical system. To be more precise, he is mostly interested in the ergodic properties of flows on surfaces and interval exchange transformations. Moreover, He is also interested in the joining and spectral properties properties and relations between dynamical systems.

After defending his PhD thesis, he went to Switzerland for a 6 month Postdoc position at UZH with prof. Corinna Ulcigrai, then for a 1 year Postdoc position at University of Rouen with prof. Thierry de la Rue and he is currently in his second Postdoc position at UZH with prof. Ulcigrai.
