New member: Florian Stäbler (UNIGE, E. Sukhorukov Group)

14 Jul 2020

Earlier this year, Florian Stäbler joined the group of Prof. Sukhorukov at the University of Geneva.

During his Bachelor and Master studies at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich, he worked on transport properties of magnetically doped quantum wires. His research interests are low dimensional quantum systems and the plethora of phenomena associated with such systems.

Currently he is working on Heat transport in Quantum Hall systems with dissipation.

Besides physics, Florian likes all activities associated with mountains and is a certified ski instructor.

Phase I & II research project(s)

  • Quantum Systems

Our member Maryna Viazovska featured on the EPFL Summer Series, Science as a vocation

Departing members: Andreas Deuchert (UZH, B. Schlein Group)
