New member: Alastair Abbott (UniGE, N. Brunner Group)

Alastair completed a joint PhD between the University of Auckland and the École Normale Supérieure de Paris in 2015 working on quantum randomness and foundations. From 2015 to 2018 he was a postdoc at the Institut Néel in Grenoble, France, before joining Prof. Brunner’s Group at the end of 2018. His research focuses on quantum foundations and correlations. In recent years, he has been particularly interested in studying causality in the quantum mechanics and the possibility of indefinite causal structures.
