Departing members: Pietro Longhi (ETH Zurich, M. Gaberdiel’s Group)

Pietro Longhi (ETH Zurich, M. Gaberdiel’s Group) will move to Uppsala University to take up a permanent position as a Senior Lecturer in mathematical physics. In this new position he will actively engage in teaching and research.

 

He will continue his work on nonperturbative aspects of supersymmetric gauge theories and string theory, the study of BPS states, and their connections to different areas of mathematics, such as enumerative geometry and knot theory.
