We are pleased to announce that our annual SwissMAP Perspectives Journal is now out and contains many interesting articles amongst which: an interview with the first recipients of the SwissMAP Innovator Prize, the latest updates on the SRS and the ICMP, as well as highlights about SwissMAP collaborations. 
The SRS 2022 Scientific Program has now been finalized and includes seven Winter and seven Summer events touching upon a wide range of topics in mathematical physics. The call for 2023 events is open until September 30, 2021. 
The workshop will gather senior and young researchers in the field, to discuss the state of the art and future perspectives of current theoretical approaches. Our postdoc member Nicolò Defenu (ETH Zurich, GM Graf’s group) is in the organizing committee.

As today 12th May, we are celebrating women in mathematics, we wanted to share some of the questions which were asked by 7-10 year olds to Shaula Fiorelli, head of the Mathscope, during the classroom visits earlier this year for the International Women and Girls in Science Day. 
Internationally recognized for his work on teleportation and quantum cryptography and founder of ID Quantique, our member Nicolas Gisin (UNIGE) enters the Larousse without knowing it. The new edition of the dictionary adds only one word and one personality from Switzerland to its pages.

We are happy to present the SwissMAP videos for the #NCCRWomen campaign. The videos will promote our fields of research amongst girls of school and undergraduate age to show the day to day life of a scientist and will be available through YouTube and Instagram.
